Charity Bake Sale Success and a Visit from the Mayor!

By Sophie Frater 29 March 2018 Charity

Year 9's Harriet E organised a successful break time bake sale with all proceeds going to the Food Bank -  a charity that Harriet has been working with for 2 years. Harriet invited fellow supporter of the charity, the Mayor of Lincoln, to the school event and he gladly accepted. The Mayor himself, Chris Burke, supported the event with the students along with Mrs Cobo as they both assisted with the sales on the cake pop up, offering a mixture of tasty donuts and cupcakes to raise money for a very good cause!

The Lincoln Minster Students showed great support, purchasing many sweet treats and showcasing banners around the school to further promote the bake sale. The sale generated over £60 in just one break time! Well done girls!
