Christmas Sack Project

Lincoln Minster Brownie group support local charity helping families facing difficulties this Christmas.

On Saturday 9th December our school Brownie group went to the former Ruddocks store on Lincoln High Street to wrap gifts for a Lincoln-based charity, The Christmas Sack Project.

The Project, now in its tenth year, is supported by Bridge Community Church. Many people in Lincoln have donated gifts to support over 400 families in Lincoln who are facing difficult times this Christmas. The Brownies spent 3 hours wrapping gifts and thinking of others.

Teaching Assistant and Brownie Leader Becky Skelton said:

"The girls did a marvellous job! They really thought about others and spent time making sure their wrapping was pretty as well as tidy. They worked so hard to wrap as many as they could. We are really proud of them!"
