Saturday 1st December saw the annual Friends of Lincoln Minster School's Christmas Fayre held in the Pre-Preparatory Schools' Damant Hall.
Fayre goers got a head start on their Christmas shopping at the marketplace in Damant Hall, which featured some of the best of our local small traders alongside a showcase of the talented Prep Choir, Flute Group and Senior school pupils, as they provided festive music to shop to.
Children (big and small) got the chance to meet with Father Christmas for a story and a chat, before going into a secret wrapping room where they got to choose a present to wrap for a friend or loved one. There was a craft room of festive activities, including decorating gingerbread (before eating it!). Older children were able to virtually fly a Red Arrow using the RAF STEM Team’s VR headsets before engaging in some intricate building projects. There were plenty of festive themed games and pocket money stalls, alongside mince pies and mulled wine on offer!
Well done to everyone who won a prize in the Christmas Raffle; prizes included an afternoon Tea at Stokes Collection, an afternoon Tea at The Lincoln Hotel, a Nutritional Consultation with Erin Roberts and much more! Unless already claimed, all other prizes and vouchers are being held in reception at Pre-Prep for collection. Congratulations to everyone and thank you for playing!

"After a very, very busy day Santa and his Elves have put their feet up now and are enjoying a bit of a rest! Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Fayre, all our fabulous helpers, traders, entertainers and to those who came, enjoyed and spent their money. The Treasurer is busy counting and we will post a total soon!"
