LMS Composition Competition

By Sophie Frater 21 May 2018 Music

Year 9, 11 and 13 musicians recently came together in the Recital Hall, along with friends and family, to present the compositions they had been working very hard on over many months. The competition was extremely tough, with many talented musicians. However, after giving all the pupils some great feedback, Mr Palmer (who will be joining the music department in September), awarded the winners as follows:-

Katie Year 13
Dylan Year 11

Well done to everyone and of course Mrs Hutchinson for all her support with the pupils.

Natalie Hutchinson: ''It was wonderful to see the pupil's compositions come to life and celebrate the hard work that they have all put in towards their GCSE and A-Level Music coursework. Parents were also delighted to see the final work that will be sent off to the exam boards this week. Although there were winners and runners up, it was a showcase of all of the pupils achievements and they were all winners in their own right. Very well done to all involved'.
