LMS Squash Players Accomplish Multiple Prestigious Trophies This Year

Two LMS students have made outstanding accomplishments in the sport over the past year, winning multiple trophies and securing a future competing as part of England Squash! Squash players at Lincoln Minster School are very consistent in their accomplishments, with special thanks to the extremely talented LMS Squash coach, Fran Wallis - who has represented England for the last 10 years and is Ladies World Number 3 Veteran.

Squash players Charlotte B (Year 5) and Ella G (Year 7) have achieved and accomplished a variety of incredibly prestigious Squash Trophies across the year so far. Ella has recently accomplished an array of awards including: Lincolnshire Squash Grand Prix Tournament Under 13s winner at Metheringham 2018, Lincoln Minster Squash Tournament Under 13s winner and Lincolnshire Junior Championship Under 13 winner 2018.

Charlotte has made many outstanding achievements, winning the Lincolnshire Grand Prix Tournaments Under 11s at Lindum, and has also been awarded champion at the Lincolnshire County Under 11's and Lindum Junior Under 11's.  Charlotte has also  received an award for Prep School elite squash player 2018 for commitment, improvement and achievement.

Both Ella and Charlotte competed in the England Aspire Squash, securing the Under 11's and Under 13's Elite players. This means the girls will have been selected to play on the Aspire Squads for their respective age groups. This is an incredibly prestigious achievement, where the elite in the region come together to form teams that play in the Aspire regional championships - who are recognised and part of England Squash!
