My Baby Can Dance!!

The 15th of November saw an extra special 'Pop in and Play' session take place at the Nursery School with a visit from dance teacher Mariana Wood (Maz) of 'My Baby Can Dance' Lincoln.

My Baby Can Dance is an award-winning movement to music pre-school activity with early years education.
In the session, movement is combined to music with activities, singing and musical instruments, numbers, colours, phonics and shapes also looking at topics such as the world around us and health & hygiene and road safety for children.

Of the classes Maz said:

"My Baby Can Dance achieves a proven learning and development path for children, using a repeatable format. The way the session is delivered means that our little ones will have lots of fun whilst learning. This increases learning paths and memory in very young children which is the primary aim of the class. What’s more, is that it is proven to work!!"

Maz was kind enough to visit Lincoln Minster's Nursery School on Winnowsty Lane and hold a 'My Baby Can Dance' session during the 'Pop and Play' time slot.  The session had a really good turn out and all the children joined in with the dancing, singing, actions, playing musical instruments and parachute play. It was lots of fun with children and adults alike having a great time!

Thank you to Maz, and to all the families that attended the class for your support!
