Past pupil returns to LMS to offer Music tuition

By Hannah Fisher 14 February 2019
Thea Butterworth, a past pupil of Lincoln Minster School, will be joining the Music Department as a peripatetic music tutor after half term.
Thea attended LMS from 2006 until 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the school, especially thriving in the Music department, performing whenever she could! She played harp in the school orchestra, double bass in concert band, sang in the choir and played electric bass guitar in the schools rock and jazz bands!
Since leaving LMS, Thea went on to the Yehudi Menuhin Music School for Sixth Form in Surrey, followed by the Royal College of Music in London. She has performed in the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace and has had the honour to play for Prince Charles on many occasions.
Thea is offering harp and double bass lessons to all standards including a one off free taster session for anyone who wants to have a go!
