Pupil success celebrated with awards presented by past pupil and successful actress Eliza Butterworth.

Pupils from all year groups received awards for outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements; celebrated in front of an audience of parents and a number of special guests.

Eliza Butterworth completed her A Levels at Lincoln Minster School in 2011 before going on to study at the acclaimed Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and appearing in a number of television dramas on Netflix, ITV and the BBC. She was delighted to be invited to the event as a special guest to present the awards, giving a speech to current pupils and parents, saying:

"It was only six years ago that I was sitting where you are and getting ready to leave the school, wondering what the future would hold.

"I attended Lincoln Minster School from Reception, right through to Sixth Form, I grew up here. I was an immensely shy child and was never particularly successful in achieving prizes; it has been said that a school can give no greater prize than confidence, which was certainly instilled in me here.

"I congratulate you all on all of your successes and wish you all the very best."

The event also featured speeches from Chair of the Board of Governors, Linda Heaver; Headmaster, Mark Wallace; and Head Boy and Girl, Finley and Katie.

Prizegiving events reward pupils for their exceptional efforts every year across all subjects and year groups.
