Pupils from Lincoln Minster School were treated to a special hockey coaching session from Team GB Manager, Andy Halliday on Friday 15th September.
Andy coached both Prep and Senior pupils with the sessions focussing on the core skills required to play hockey at an elite level.
Following the session, Halliday said: “It’s been great to see the enthusiasm of the pupils today and to see hockey thriving at the School. I’ve been very impressed by the skill level of the pupils and the way they’ve mastered the game. It’s fantastic to be surrounded by people that are so passionate about the game.”
Headmaster, Mark Wallace said: “To be coached by the Team GB and England Manager is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils. After a successful hockey season across all age groups last year, this session with Andy Halliday can only serve to inspire our pupils and develop their skills even further.”
