Releasing Potential in our Sporting Children

On Wednesday 2nd October 'Non-Perfect Dad' Richard Shorter will be in school hosting a series of workshops with our sports scholars before presenting an evening discussion on the topic 'Releasing Potential in our Sporting Children'.  An inspiring speaker, Richard is dedicated to enabling parents and sport teams work together through courageous and honest parenting. The talk will also discuss how parents can facilitate positive conversations based on character rather than results, whether that is academia or sport.

Richard runs inactive meetings for parents, teachers and coaches by providing support and advice on how to support children in gaining the most from their sporting experience. He is currently working with parents at national youth teams for England hockey, rugby as well as  professional clubs such as Manchester United, Saracens Rugby Club and Somerset Cricket County.
