Year 9 Student Harriet Raises Money for  Lincoln Food Bank

Harriet E (Year 9) has always been an active member of community based charitable causes. She recently held a car-boot sale in Newark, during a recent weekend, in an effort to raise money for local organisation, The Lincoln Food Bank.

All items were sold for 50p each and included her own clothing, books, shoes, hair accessories and beauty products. Harriet even made use of her old Christmas gifts from previous years that had gone unused - adding a high quality to her range of products. The selfless LMS student thoroughly enjoyed herself throughout the day raising money for the Food Bank. She met lots of new people, including the manager from the Lincoln Larder and a lovely lady from the outreach team in Lincoln. Harriet's full day spent at the car-boot , raised a total of £25.50 -  enough for one person's food supply for one whole week!

Well done Harriet!
