Chloe has been invited to join the Midland Development Squad of Grantham Swimming Club starting in September, requiring her to attend 5 training sessions per week - a total of eight hours in the pool.

Chloe's swimming success has seen her qualify for 13 of 17 events at the 2018 Lincolnshire Country Championships which will take place in January and February 2018 at Louth and Grantham; with the qualifying period running until the end of November, she hopes to add to this count.

Qualifying for the 2018 East Midlands Championships does not start until October with the championships being held in May 2018 - Chloe's inclusion in the Midland Development squad is targeted at training towards this event.

In her best stroke – breaststroke – Chloe is ranked number one in her age group in Lincolnshire in both the 100m and 200m distances, she is also ranked in the top 10 for all swimmers in the East Midlands and only just outside the top 100 nationally in those two events.

Maciej Rakowski, Head Coach at Grantham Swimming Club, said:

"Chloe has had an astonishing end to the season and Chloe again clocked another impressive PB [at the Summer Club Championships] in 200 breaststroke by over 5 seconds which gives her the lead in the county ranking."

Well done Chloe!
